Privacy

Kerning Exchange is a small fan-made market. We keep only what the market needs to work, we don’t sell or share it, and there are no ads. Last updated October 4, 2026.

What we store

  • From Discord, when you log in: your Discord account ID, username and avatar. We ask Discord only for your basic profile. Discord may also pass your email address to our login service, which keeps it with your login; we never show it, email you, or give it to anyone.
  • Your in-game name, which you type in yourself so buyers can whisper you.
  • Your listings: item, price, stats, quantity, note, and when you mark one sold, the final price and (if you add it) the buyer’s in-game name.
  • Your offers: the price, the in-game name you give with it, and which account made it.
  • Your comments, and which account wrote each one.
  • FM Tracker uploads: the shop screenshots you upload (made smaller first), the rows you save from them (item, price, bundle size, sold or not), the shop owner’s in-game name if the shop’s title bar shows it, when the screenshot was taken, and which account sent it. Your browser reads the screenshot itself; it isn’t sent to any other service.
  • Reports you send about comments, and your settings (like whether to show your Discord name).

Who can see what

  • Everyone can see listings, sale prices and in-game names. That’s how the market and its price history work. A buyer’s in-game name you add when marking a sale is only shown to you.
  • Offers are seen by you and the seller: the price and the in-game name you give. Everyone else only sees a listing’s highest offer and how many offers it has, not who made them.
  • Your Discord name and avatar are hidden unless you turn on “Show my Discord name” in Settings.
  • Comments are anonymous by default, shown as “Anon 1”, “Anon 2” and so on, numbered fresh on each listing so nobody can follow you around the site. You can choose to post under your in-game name (linked to your seller page) or your Discord name instead. We still know who wrote each comment, so moderators can deal with spam, scams and abuse.
  • Moderators can see who wrote a reported comment. Nobody else can see who reported what.
  • FM Tracker prices are public, without your name. The shop owner’s in-game name, when the screenshot showed it, is shown next to each price, as it is to anyone walking past the shop in game. Your screenshots are private: only you and moderators (checking for fake prices) can open them. Screenshots show what was on your screen, like the shop owner’s name and your chat, so crop out anything you’d rather not share.

Cookies

We use cookies only to keep you logged in. No advertising, analytics or tracking cookies.

Services we use

  • Discord for logging in. Their own privacy policy covers your Discord account.
  • Supabase hosts our database and logins (servers in the eastern United States).
  • Vercel hosts the website. Like any web host it keeps short-lived server logs, which include IP addresses.
  • Vercel Web Analytics counts visits: which pages are viewed, which site sent you there, and your country, browser and device type. It uses no cookies and doesn’t follow you to other sites or tell us who you are.

These services store data for us and don’t use it for anything else.

Deleting your data

You can remove your own listings, offers, comments and FM Tracker uploads anytime. To delete your whole account, email hello@kerning.gg from any address and tell us your Discord username. We’ll delete your profile, listings, offers, comments, reports and uploads within 30 days and confirm when it’s done. You can also ask us for a copy of what we hold about you.

Age

You need to be at least 13 to use Kerning Exchange, the same as Discord.

Changes

If this changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. Questions? Email hello@kerning.gg. Back to the market
